Workshop: Dialogues on Humanity
A creative workshop on global humanitarian issues at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva.
Discover the “Dialogues on Humanity” workshop with your class, offered by the Fondation Eduki and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum.
This activity combines a museum visit with a participatory workshop, enabling students to explore the humanitarian principles of Humanity, Neutrality, Independence, and Impartiality, while reflecting on current challenges related to images, social media, and artificial intelligence.
These themes can be linked to current global issues and conflicts, but also, more subjectively, to each individual’s personal experience. Students will be invited to reflect on what these concepts mean to them and then express their thoughts in an artistic and creative way.
Activity format (2 hours)
- Visit to the MICR permanent exhibition (1h to 1h15)
- Creative workshop (45 min)

From September 2024 to May 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming 440 students from 14 schools in 4 cantons to the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (MICR) in Geneva.
Through 16 creative workshops (painting, writing, digital creation) and 17 visits to the MICR, young people from secondary schools I and II – and even 3 primary school classes – explored major global humanitarian issues and expressed their thoughts in an original way.
