The Humanitarian Trail in Geneva
From 4 to 12 December 2019, the Humanitarian Trail will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the human adventure that constitutes the ICRC humanitarian action through two trails in different parts of Geneva, which will include interactive activities.
- Trail through the old town: discover how the Red Cross and the Geneva Conventions were initiated by a group of Geneva citizens.
- Trail through Geneva's international district: discover the humanitarian challenges of today and tomorrow, this inludes:
- On Place des Nations, the "digital transformation" installation to explore the tangible and unknown impacts of digital technologies that have transformed the humanitarian sector;
- By the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG), inside a Yurt the photo exhibit "Dialogue on Humanity" will allow visitors to explore their reactions, and discover the stories behind the images in an exchange with humanitarian experts from the ICRC.
