Young Activists Summit - Women and girls driving progress

A generation of young activists is born. These modern-day heroes are fighting injustice and leading society forward.

The 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Nadia Murad will take part in the Young Activists Summit, which will bring together a panel of activists aged 13 to 26 on December 10th. Captured by Daesh, Nadia Murad had managed to escape and alert the international community about the crimes committed against her people, the Yazidis. At her side, Amy and Ella Meek (Kids Against Plastic, UK), Hamangaì Pataxò (Deforestation, Brazil), Memory Banda (Arranged marriages, Malawi) and Rebecca Kabuo (Governance, Congo Kinshasa) will share their experiences at the Palais des Nations.

Young people aged 15 to 25 year olds are invited to participate in the Summit and ask questions to the activists.

Free admission upon registration, limited seating.
