10th edition of the Eduki Competition
During the 2025/2026 school year, the Eduki competition invited pupils from across Switzerland to imagine the impact of digital technology and new technologies on our daily lives. Through their projects, they explored solutions and ideas for navigating an increasingly interconnected world, placing people and sustainability at the heart of not only their thinking but also their actions.

An immersive game combining role-play and debate to encourage children and young people to reflect on the role of artificial intelligence. Set in the year 3026, players take on the roles of humans or robots with secret pro- or anti-AI stances and complete missions guided by a game master in timed rounds. Through the game, discussions and educational worksheets, they explore the risks and opportunities (jobs, the environment, autonomy, dehumanisation) and learn that AI is neither good nor bad in itself: it all depends on the choices we make.

A project in which pupils devised and designed a kit of screen-free activities (games, workshops and reading material) to encourage conversation on public transport. The aim is to persuade SBB to make this kit available in a carriage to enhance the journey for many passengers.

An awareness-raising initiative highlighting the importance of stepping away from screens and prioritising quality family time, during which the École des Charmilles choir performed Aldebert’s ‘Écrans, rendez-nous nos parents !’, with a performance staged for the other classes.
Olympink : “l’importante è poter partecipare”

The first GSI classes at Poschiavo School, with the support of a class from Rovereto, the Movimento association and craftsman Daniele Rinaldi, have designed a specially adapted bike to enable Arianna, a young athlete with a disability, to take part in the Special Olympics National Summer Games in Zug. Combining 3D printing, eco-friendly materials and sensor- and AI-assisted steering, this project promotes inclusion, responsible technology and solidarity.

An idea for a mobile app aimed at young people in the canton of Vaud, turning climate action into a game. It offers weekly eco-challenges that allow users to earn points and climb a national leaderboard. The app also connects students from different schools so they can organise practical local initiatives to protect the environment.
Imaginer demain : 2070, Un monde désirable dans le donut
Ecole secondaire de Vevey, VD
A school-wide initiative to raise awareness and spur action, aimed at engaging the fields of economics, law, culture and the creative arts to transform eco-anxiety into concrete commitment. Inspired by the Doughnut Theory, the pupils combined interdisciplinary artistic creations, meetings with organisations, associations and policy-makers working on human rights and sustainability, as well as a screening and discussion at school of a film they had made, proposing a sustainable future by 2070 through three forward-looking narratives.

ITU launch event
September 30, 2025 marked the launch of the 10th edition of the competition, at an inaugural event organized in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in celebration of its 160th anniversary.
