Interconnected: human - digital - sustainable

10th edition of the Eduki Competition

During the 2025/2026 school year, the Eduki competition invited pupils from across Switzerland to imagine the impact of digital technology and new technologies on our daily lives. Through their projects, they explored solutions and ideas for navigating an increasingly interconnected world, placing people and sustainability at the heart of not only their thinking but also their actions.

Symbol of this edition: the compass

A symbol of guidance and informed choices, the compass embodies the search for the right path towards a responsible, sustainable and human-centred digital future.

Discover the projects and winners here, and relive the highlights of this exceptional edition!

Two Main Approaches

Human and social impacts

Digitalisation is transforming our lifestyles, impacting them in a variety of ways, both positive and negative. It influences social relations, well-being, education, work and civic life. Thanks to technology, we are increasingly interconnected and informed. However, it also raises major issues such as misinformation, online safety and mental health.

Environmental impacts

New technologies offer invaluable tools for analyzing environmental changes and responding swiftly, among many other things. But they also raise crucial questions: energy-consuming equipment production, high electricity consumption, extraction of rare resources, management of electronic waste… to name but a few.

Jury Concrete Action

A big thank you to you all for organising this fantastic event and for thinking of me to be part of the judging panel. It was a real pleasure to discover these inspiring projects and I would be delighted to take part again in the future. It was impressive to see those 600 students gathered at the UN and moving to see them receive their awards! The conference was brilliantly hosted – efficient and engaging. Well done to you and the whole organising team.

Teacher (GE)

Just a quick note to thank the whole team for the wonderful experience the pupils had yesterday!

We all really appreciated the organisation and the setting.

Student (ZH)

I want to start by thanking you for the competition and for everything that went into making the ceremony possible. I am honoured to have won first prize in the Media Sec. 2 category, and spending a day at the Palais des Nations is not something I will forget. There is not always much room in a school curriculum, especially as we get older, for serious creative work. This matters more now than ever, given how quickly AI is reshaping how we connect with each other, and I am grateful that Eduki is giving young people a platform for that, as it very well may be the difference for our society…
